Pension Parity of Major Generals: Supreme Court Ruling
Hi Friends,
Went to the SC yesterday to hear the contempt case submitted by Nidesh Gupta for non compliance of the SC orders regarding our pensions. Altamas Kabir was the senior judge of the bench, he was fully aware of the case & was furious with the COAS & Def Secy for not implementing the SC orders. He let the Defence lawyers have it as they gave no reasons for non execution. He first issued notice to the COAS & Def Secy to come personally to the court & explain as to why the the SC orders had not been executed & why a contempt case should not be launched against them. On pleading by the Def lawyers he excused their personal appearance. On our pressurizing he fixed the next hearing on 4th May. This news was picked up by all TV channels & high lighted in their 1200hrs onwards. Hope the Govt now takes some action. Please inform all concerned.

अनुसूचित जाति के लिए कल की अवमानना का मामला Nidesh गुप्ता द्वारा अनुसूचित जाति आदेश हमारे पेंशन के संबंध में की गैर अनुपालन के लिए प्रस्तुत सुनने के लिए गया था. Altamas कबीर की बेंच के वरिष्ठ न्यायाधीश था पूरी तरह से इस मामले की और थल सेनाध्यक्ष और रक्षा सचिव के नहीं एससी आदेशों को लागू करने के लिए के साथ अति क्रुद्ध थी अवगत, वह था. वह के रूप में वे गैर निष्पादन के लिए कोई कारण दिया रक्षा वकीलों इसे करते हैं. वह पहली बार थल सेनाध्यक्ष और रक्षा सचिव को व्यक्तिगत रूप से अदालत में आने के लिए और समझाने के रूप में क्यों कि अनुसूचित जाति आदेश एवं निष्पादित नहीं किया गया था करने के लिए क्यों एक अवमानना का मामला उनके खिलाफ शुरू नहीं की जानी चाहिए नोटिस जारी किए हैं. वह अपने निजी उपस्थिति माफ़ रक्षा वकीलों द्वारा सिफ़ारिश पर. पर हमारे वह 4 मई को अगली सुनवाई तय ज़ोर. यह खबर सभी टीवी चैनलों और के द्वारा उठाया गया था उनके 1200hrs बाद में जला उच्च. आशा है कि सरकार अब कुछ कार्रवाई लेता है. कृपया सभी संबंधितों को सूचित.

Dear All,
The list of Veterans who have surrendered their Medals to the President is compiled by Gp Capt Gandhi is now on the IESM web site and can be viewed at IESM: click me on the link IESM Members ..Updated list. This list is not complete and the rest is still under compilation. Any member who does not find his name in the list may kindly intimate the same for correct update.

Maha Rally By Ex Servicemen at Jantar Mantar New Delhi on 12 Apr 09 at 11 AM
An Appeal
Dear Friends,
1. Our Maha Rally at Jantar Mantar New Delhi on12 Apr 09 is being organized to not only press for over demands but also to show case our “Power of the Vote” in the coming Lok Sabha Elections. We will also deposit our Medals with the President for the fourth time to express our deep anguish and dismay at our continuing neglect by the present Government.
2. Since numbers matter, we appeal to all ESM Organisation and ESM across the country to MUST take part in this Maha Rally. “JAGO FAUJI JAGO, BEINSAFI SE LARHNE KE LIYE APNA YOGDAN DO” All ESM, their dependents and supporters residing in NCR and neighbouring states of Haryana, Punjab, UP, Himachal, Rajasthan, Uttrankhand must join the Rally in large numbers. It is encouraging to know that some ESM from Southern states are also attending the Rally
3. You are requested to pass on this information to as many ESM as possible and motivate them to attend the Rally. IESM will also part reimburse the transport expenditure to the tune of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) per bus load with a proviso that those traveling in these buses should become IESM members. We have limited funds through the membership subscription and donations and would request ESM across the country to become members of the IESM to increase the financial capability of the organization. Our struggle has to go on to ensure due justice to the defence Personnel. All Must reach Jantar Mantar at 11 AM on 12 Apr 09. “Ham Ne To JAB Vadiye Gurbat Mein Kadam Rakha Tha, To Dur tak Madre Vatan Ayee Thee Samjhane Ko” (Shaheed S. Bhagat Singh)
