Consul General of France in Puducherry Joelle Rayet and Secretary to Government TM Balakrishnan placed wreaths at the War Memorial on Goubert Avenue on the day.
A number of persons including the officer bearers of association of retired French military and civil service persons placed wreaths at the war memorial.
