Now citizens have to pay through their nose at Rs 5.75 per unit- domestic consumption- this is the world's highest rates for the worst and unreliable electric power (voltage and frequency fluctuations causes breakdown of domestic gadgets). Where are we heading? The Politicains make money in poor quality Power distribution with sops, gimmicks and free electricity for the poor. All in all a sordid state of affairs even for a banana republic...
