IESM: Fast for Justice Rally- ninty ninth day

Date: Wednesday, 25 March, 2009, 10:44 PM
Dear Colleagues,
The Jantar mantar venue continues to remain activated. There was a group of ESM from Bahadurgarh who visited the venue and spent a few hours with us.
Core Gp
The Core Gp had a long meeting this afternoon. Following decisions were take.
1. IESM continues to remain apolitical.
2. Any ESM fighting elections from any constituency should be supported by all the ESM in the area. In the rare chance of two ESM contesting from the same constituency, the suggested voting preference should be in the following order:
  • Candidate contesting on Rashtriya Raksha Dal ticket.
  • Candidate contesting as Independent.
    Rally on 12 April 2009
The rally will be held at 1100 hours on 12 April 2009 at Jantar Mantar instead of Ram Lila ground. It will terminate into depositing of medals with the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
    Best regards,
Lt Gen (Emeritus) Raj Kadyan, PVSM, AVSM, VSM
    Chairman IESM

    On defence?
We believe ‘one rank-one pension’ must be implemented. We will also take forward reform like the contributory health scheme for the armed forces and accelerate housing: I am boastful enough to say that was my contribution when I was defence minister.
