Battle won by Maj Gen's through the intervention of the Supreme Court
Some of the pre-1996 Major Generals have got corrigenda to their PPOs fixing their notional pay as Rs20000 with increase in pension of Rs450. Some of pre-1996 AVMs have also got the corrigendum fixing their notional pay as Rs19900 with increase in pension of Rs400. CDA (Navy) may also have issued fixing notional pay which may be at variance with the notional pay fixed so far for Army and Air Force. May I request pre-1996 Rear Admirals to please enlighten us as to notional pay for them.
I have calculated arrears for increase in pension by Rs400 and Rs450. click here for arrears tables. If there is any mistake, kindly let me know.
Wishing all veterans a very happy post Deepawali and hoping that in the years to come, ESM organizations will be able to put up the genuine grievances to the Government and champion for the legitimate rights of every veteran who has dedicated his life for the preservation of the Nation's security.
