Visits
1. Gen Satbir, Gen Pravesh Renjen and Col Bhardwaj visited Kanpur today and addressed a gathering of 400 ESM and families from Kanpur and Fatehgarh. They were enthusistically received and the gathering vowed to join the IESM in the pussuit of a just cause.
2. Col Joshipura and self visited Sikar. There was an eager gathering of 1000 ESM and families, which was described by the organisers as unprecedented. They had come from nearby districts. It included Sub Bhagwan Singh, President of the Sikar District Ex Services League (the host), Col NL Verma Senior Vice President IESL, Brig Kartar Singh President Rajasthan Ex Services League, Col Narayan Singh Janu, Member of the IESL Governing Council, Brig Bhagwan Singh, ex Secretary Rajasthan Sainik Board, Brig Arya and several others. If the frequecy and intensity of applause could be taken as an indicator of their fervor, their zeal was limitless. They all wanted 'nirdesh' on the voting choice in the coming elections.
Best regards,
Lt Gen (Emeritus) Raj Kadyan, PVSM, AVSM, VSM
Chairman IESM
