IESM: Fast for Justice Rally- ninty first/second day

Dear Colleagues,
The Jantar mantar venue in under the charge of local team from Gurgaon.
Political Shenanigans
Shri LK Advani is scheduled to visit Jantar Mantar at 1215 hours tomorrow (19 Mar 2009). While referring to OROP, he is likely to announce, "A future BJP-led government, if elected, will implement this demand without any delay".
A few comments on his likely statement:
1. A ‘BJP-led government’ implies the commitment from NDA and not only from BJP.
2. ‘Will implement’ is devoid of ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ and is categorical as compared to the earlier ‘will re-examine’, ‘will seriously consider’ etc.
3. ‘Without any delay’ is an encouraging term of reference, particularly with the use of ‘any’. It could possibly have been more specific. (I had read in the media recently where the BJP had reportedly said that if voted to power they would bring in POTA within three days of assuming office, or words to that effect).

    On the 94th day of the relay fast, political leaders at the national level are taking note of our just demands. Members of the team who have been tenacoiusly carrying on with the struggle deserve our praise.

    The BJP Headquarter has confirmed this evening that Shree LK Advani will visit at IESM Shamiana at Jantar Mantar on 19 Mar 09, 1230 hrs, to announce BJP's support for OROP.
    All Indian Military Veterans, All Ranks, living in and around NCR are requested to make it convenient to reach at Jantar Mantar latest by 1200 hrs.
    All veterans, who are in touch with the media persons are also requested to activate their contacts and ensure maximum possible coverage of the function at Jantar Mantar on 19 Mar 09.
    As we all know - firstly it is game of numbers and secondly intensity of the media coverage that can bring success to IESM.
    Therefore, I request your best support in all possible ways.
    Please be at Jantar Mantar with family, friends and your media support.
    KINDLY GIVE WIDEST POSSIBLE PUBLICITY TO THE ABOVE INFORMATION AND ENSURE SUBSEQUENT ACTION.
