IESM: LK Advani visits Fast for Justice Rally at Jantar Mantar






Dear Col,
I attended the gathering at Jantar Mantar today. Shri Advani jee was punctual to the minute. A very well covered event by the media. Nice Speech with committment by BJP lead government if it comes in power, however, I could discern a small window to back out if required later on. It is good and we all left satisfied. However, I feel we should get more apolitical VIP also to Jantar Mantar. I am uploading a few pictures of the event, not very good due my position against the sun.

Dear Friends,
As planned and organised Shri LK Advaniji visited the IESM Venue (Jantar Mantar) at 1220 hrs toady and affirmed his commitment for One Rank One Pay (OROP). While saying so he also mentioned that it was shame for the nation that the Veterans have to go public demonstration and returning of their medals particularly when investiture ceremonies are being held to decorate them. He also asserted that BJP/NDA will not hesitate to earmark funds for OROP particularly when in the past they could take much more costlier decision for safeguarding our Nation;(this reference was on Pokhraan Test in the back-ground of the Chinese plans).

Gen Kadyan while welcoming Shri LK Advani ji highlighted the points on OROP and loudly explained the audience/press that the issue was more of inequity than adequacy and was well taken by them. Hopefully, the details will appear in the media news today. You can watch the details on 'Report My Signal Blog.

Let us all put our best to support the IESM and increase its membership. We owe to the society.
